Five Minute Friday: Tell

An action word for Five Minute Friday. Tell! Go and TELL Pharoah, Let my people go. Go TELL it on the Mountain…that Jesus Christ is Born. Jesus said, And I TELL you: Ask and you will receive. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you. Jesus said, “Return home and TELL the story of what God has done for you.” Most commonly the word tell is found in close association with other action words such as “go” and “come” That means that it isn’t just a sit in my house alone and “tell”…It’s a get out there in the world and tell. Tell of God’s power. Tell of God’s love. Tell the Good News of Jesus Christ. Tell, tell, tell…. In the writing world however; there is a phrase that comes up when we’re working on dialog and character descriptions. Show...

So successful in fact that he bought his first car at age 12 with the profits from his rabbit business…a classic 1966 mustang, which...

Parables From the Farm: Nature Speaks

A few years back when we were living in Tillamook, Oregon, I began a strict regime to get myself in better shape. I used this time not only for exercise, but to commune with nature and to fellowship with God. One crisp fall morning I was astonished to see what seemed like hundreds of brown and black woolly caterpillars crossing the road. Some were going from the left side of the road to the right. Then a little further on I located a few hurrying from the right side to the left. I don’t know what butterfly eventually evolves from these cute little bugs, and for the purpose of this writing it is...
